Hi Everyone
Im currently an international student studying commercial aviation at the University of North Dakota. The degree I am getting is a bachelor of Science in Aeronautics.
I was not under the impression that this degree at first fell under the listed STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering , Math) programs. But when I google this, there seems to be some programs recently added.
94 STEM Degree Programs added to 17 month OPT Extension by DHS (http://redbus2us.com/94-stem-degree-programs-added-to-17-month-opt-extension-by-dhs/)
Number 78 on the list (49.0101)
Does this mean that I can apply for additional working time on an F-1 after my initial 12 months opt. Totaling I can work for 2 and a half years as an instructor building hours in the U.S (If I actually do get employment) before having to go home?
