This is a rare event soon to happen at the Millville Municipal Airport NJ on 4 & 5 May 2002.The big Boeing 377(C-97)Stratocruiser will be making HER debut at this EAST coast airshow for this one time event. Both the C-54 Skymaster & the C-97G STRAT will be on display together at same time & open for tours to the public.Both are "Flying Museums" on a mission of history & education dedicated to the Berlin Airlift & the COLD WAR yrs.Both vintage Proptransports are owned & operated by the non profit,private,all volunteer group,the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation from Toms River NJ. After this airshow the big "STRAT" will fly on to HER new home at the HANGAR in Brooklyn NYC.There the work will begin on the permanent COLD WAR MUSEUM/EXIBIT inside HER fuselage.
