QantasLink progression

Hi All,

Does anyone know what the chances are of progressing through qantaslink into the Qantas jet fleet.

I'm seriously considering the advanced entry 6 week cadetship entry to fly the Dash 8's, which I would love, but I have heard Q-link don't like their pilots transferring to Qantas.

Hope someone can clear this rumour up for me

No progression into QF or JQ. DCT progression agreement has been already been attempted many years ago and no agreement reached. Besides, even if there was DCT progression, there would be no chance of that happening in the foreseeable future due to the lack of recruitment within QF.

And the days of wanting to fly a red tailed jet are over. People these days seem to be gearing up for work O/S when it comes to jets.

It sounds like if you're seriously considering it you are either accepted into the program or know for sure you'll be accepted?
