I am considering obtaining a UK PPL but am on Warfarin.
Can anyone advise me as to the CAA's position on this medication?

As far as I am aware, there is no chance of getting a JAA medical on warfarin. However, there is a new National PPL coming soon, this will have different medical standards, there will be two sets of standards, one to carry passengers and a lower standard to fly solo. The new licence will be limited to flying just in the UK and smaller simple types of aircraft. Of course you will need to check that the reason you are on warfarin does not disqualify you from getting the new licence when it comes in allegedly latter this year.
