GA Telesis LLC Announces the Award of Cathay Pacific Airways Consignment Contract for the Boeing 747-400 Aircraft


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
GA Telesis LLC announces that it will be adding three 747-400s to its inventory with provisions to add fifteen additional B747-400s. The ex-Cathay Pacific Airways B747-400s are powered by both RB211 and PW4056 engines. The aircraft will enter the GA Telesis disassembly production line in Kemble, UK, next week, with the disassembly and remarketing being led by GA Telesis, UK and GA Telesis LLC. The first few aircraft will be dismantled by Air Salvage.

HUD flew to Kemble yesterday I believe, another next week I'm told.

What's sad about? Sad is when a child die from cancer, not when som old POS aircraft gets chopped up:ugh:

Sorry bud. Always sad to see these airliners chopped up. Especially a grand old lady like this. Doing my initial right now on the 744. Seems very advanced to me from my background but high fuel prices are taking their toll. Glad I have the chance. Touch and goes today in the sim.
