Hi all,
Something that seems to have been missed in the the discussions about the 737/A320 fleet swops by EazyBleet/Ryanair etc, is the cost to these now fairly large companies of converting all thier crews to a new type. Flight deck training is not cheat as we all know, so how can these airlines afford to 'swop' types when they have so many pilots, cabin crew engineers to retrain. Sounds a little far fetched to me. Smacks of VS's bid to screw Boeing for a good deal by offering to by 5 744s off BA knowing that Boeing was trying to find a home for AZ's 5 744s. Can someone throw some light on where they Eazy/Ryan will get funding from for a massive bill?
