Walking through the Check In area of the domestic terminal at Cairns t'other night, and Bloggs and I witnessed part of an angry exchange between a bloke we took to be a would-be passenger and a representative of a LCC. The would-be pax was very wound up, whilst the airline man, seemed to keep his cool. As we walked past, we heard the airline man call to one of his colleagues, "Call the AFP please".

The next day we found out that would-be was suspected of being under the influence, and when told that a manager would have to approve further processing, took a great deal of umbrage.

Stoopid idjut. When the AFP presented, and made a little check, would-be was taken into custody. Seems the dill had three outstanding warrants for his arrest! Fancy drawing that kind of attention to yourself, in a place crawling with armed coppers! :ugh:

To be nominated for the Darwin awards, you have to remove yourself from the gene pool through a grand act of blatant stupidity.

Simply acting like a resident of that city doesn't get you nominated I'm afraid :E

Horatio, nomination for a DA can also mean the nominee just scrapes in with an "Honorable Mention", and also makes the list of "At-Risk Survivors". It's a big club.

Honourable mentions can be earned by surviving, albeit without the ability to pass your questionable genetic programming on to another generation.:}

G'day Horatio,

Whilst one doesn't know what the outstanding warrants are for, it's just possible that by his blatant stupidity at arguing within earshot of the AFP, would-be could spend the rest of his life behind bars, ergo denying the reproductive pool, his genes.

tweekey,

Sure was, about 1830ish.

Clarrie, speaking about life behind bars, the tag below your call sign is appropriate! (cracked me up anyway).

ps you might want to run it through a spell check though, before the spelling police chase you down and put your bottom away
