Hello Everyone,
EU aviation legislation will have about a 400% increase in oversight costs...has anyone hear about this? Is this a rumour?

Who's worried?
As I understand things, within each EASA/EU Member State oversight is the province of the National Aviation Authority, which makes its own charges to regulated organisations and licence holders.
In the UK the CAA's charges are exhorbitant, but that's not the issue.
Outside EASA-land, EASA exercises oversight on EASA-approved organisations; usually, I think, sub-contracting the work to an appropriate NAA. Who charges whom in such a case, I wonder?
