Documentary - AVGAS issues in Africa

I'm researching for a documentary series and we're looking to touch on the AVGAS issue in Africa.
We'd like to jump on board with a tanker truck delivering a supply from Durban? to maybe somewhere in West Africa.
I know it's a long shot. We're open to a different start and end location.
Basically, we just want to tell the story by documenting the journey the fuel needs to take to get to the pilots - exploring why the supply is so unpredictable etc.
Could anyone out there point me in the right direction? Someone who is directly and heavily involved in the distribution, delivery of AVGAS on a local level?

I understand Avgas 100LL travels in 200 L. drums by sea, on ships; and only the last stretch by road... Say, by ship to Cotonou, and then on a truck to Agadez.

I flew to wako kunga angola last month from zambia and back through mongu zambia to lusaka. And had 2 drums one at each place.
In Angola the supply is ridiculous we had 2 drums but pritty empty I was expecting 200l and don't think I got more than 150.
I had a proper 200l drum at mongu. I can ask ops and try to find out how they organize thous drums to get there.

Not to be rude, but do you understand the sheer size of Africa, and how many different states it holds? Logistics are a total nightmare, when your question reads as if you are only thinking of distances, not of bandits, roads that are much more potholes than road, predatory officialdom, and so on, and on.

Start by meditating upon why airplanes are used in Africa in the first place, when that is often because of the risks of travel by road. We used to fly a sector of 19 minutes, between Warri and Port Harcourt, just because of that. I would love to see the adventure that would ensue, trying to get one lousy little barrel of Avgas down that road, so that if you make your film be sure to tell us where to go to see it.
