Hey all,

With Bristol do they do eight subjects for module 1 followed by the remaining six for module 2? Or is it split evenly 7-7?

Cheers

Oh no….. I’m doing the exams in May. I was worried about 7 I’ll never be able to deal with 8!!!!!!!!!!

Bristol do 8 and 6. But there shouldn't be any need to worry - their logic for splitting them like this is that 3 of the 8 are very easy (VFR Comms, IFR Comms and Mass&Balance).

Bristol Do do 8 and 6 but the six I felt were harder being the more theory based.

Module1
VFR Comms
IFR Comms (couldn't see any difference really-both really easy if you do the feedback)
Human factors (again easy if feedback)
Mass and Balance (loads of numbers but once your head round them-not too bad)
General nav ( quite a toughie)
Met (again a tough one)
Flight Planning ( one golden rule-look in the big black book!)
Instruments( The most difficult I think but well taught)

Module 2
Air Law
Performance
Aircraft General
Radio nav ( easiest of this lot)
Ops Procs
Principles of Flight
All the above are very much interrelated but the sheer volume is what is daunting. Tip is to look at the actual exams and coursework involved, not the number.

Hope this helps and puts your mind at ease- don't worry cos if you work hard you will reap the rewards!
