Hi all, quick question I have an Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT graphics card currently installed in my Dell desktop, I also have a spare one, I was wondering if they could be made to work in parallel (series?) to increase frame rates for games etc.

Thanks for any replies.

Yes, you'd run the cards in SLI mode (assuming you're talking about two 9500 GT). Your motherboard may or may not support two cards using SLI.

The card is a bit old. If you need to buy an SLI cable, then consider that $75 would buy a new card that eclipses the performance of two 9500 GT in SLI mode.

according to the nVidia website, the 9500GT was designed to be capable of SLI, but whether you can use that depends on whether the cards are actually fitted with the connectors
Also does your motherboard have the correct slots - and is the board SLI capable?

You have an E520, so the answer is no.

Bush has answered the question.

The problem with Dell PC's is that it's very difficult to upgrade anything on it because of propriatary parts issues.

Been there, done that!
