Hello,

does anybody know the "Complete Private Pilot Training Course" from Bruce Hogan, St. Petersburg, Florida ?

Can You recommend it, is it recommended/used by US Flight Schools?

How does it compare to King Schools, Gleim or Jeppesen PPL study kit?

Thank You

I don't use Gleim or King with my students so I can't say
Jepessen is usually very good but expensive

perhaps the list of books that I refer to in this post will be helpful since it's a different topic some of the books listed will not be relevant to you such as Handling the Big Jets but most are very good and are to be recomended furthermore they are cheap!

edit: not relevant but I'm obsessive--- the Helicopter Flying handbook is listed wrongly...I meant Rotorcraft Flying Handbook...covers gyroplanes too

hope that helps...:)

Thanks for Your reply!

Well, I came across this course from Bruce Hogan surfing the net and in comparison to these other known study kits his package is quite cheap.
Would like to hear some opinions about it.
I assume each (US) Flight School has its own favorite brand of study kits anyway...
