Very new here,

I know this has been asked many times, but i can't seem to find a single soul that has successfully completed this program so i know it can work out if it is right for me.

I just saved enough money to pull me across the line with the Jetstar/Virgin/ Q Link and Rex cadet programs. But i do not know what to choose.

I have been an Aspiring pilot for 10 years, logging hours in 172's and etc.

Should i go for the cadet programs (if so could somebody please tell me if you can pass through it legitimately?) or GA for a few years and then fly charter and advance to Airliners later on. But that would burn much more money?

Forget the airlines dude, apply straight to NASA imo.

You don't choose them, mate. They choose you.

pffft please...

LK2000, save your money and do a few years in GA, gain command time then apply to the airlines IMHO.

If youre a real pilot at heart you'll go through GA. If you want to be a pilot to wear a uniform, aviators and be a mad dog in front of the chicks do a cadetship.

You you saying I can't pick up chicks in GA? Or just that I can't afford to?

You can if you like the butch chicks that live out in the boonies.
