I just started using Chrome - Firefox's stability problems were just too much for me (needed restarting several times a day). I run Ubuntu 12.04 on my desktop, so IE isn't an option.

Chrome seems pretty good but I no longer get the thread previews when I mouseover the thread title. This is pretty useful and I wondered if there's anything I can do about it. It doesn't just affect Pprune, I see the same thing with other sites too.

I looked on the settings pages but I can't find anything relevant there. The "about" line says:

18.0.1025.168 (Developer Build 134367 Linux) Ubuntu 12.04

Anyone have any ideas?

That's odd I sometimes use SRWare Iron which is google chrome without the google harvesting software in it and it shows the thread previews ok. But that is on Windows so it may be some thing about the Linux version that causing your problem.

Weird. I didn't change anything and it just started working. I suppose Google must have been listening and updated my settings for me when I complained.
