So which is the best school? Oxford, Cabair, PPSC? Who has the best instructors but most important, the best authentic JAA question banks ? Anyone help?

Slightly aside : It´s all very well a school having loads of ´feedback´ questions, but having the correct answers is something totally different :) This is particularly the case with Instruments.

Personally I've found Oxford excellent. Yes, they have lots of exam feedback, but more importantly, the quality of ground instruction is very good.

That said, feedback questions are all well and good, but a thorough understanding of all the subject matter is more important. If you into a JAR exam thinking you know what's going to come up because you've seen the latest feedback, you'd better be careful! Think they add to the question bank fairly regularly in some subject areas, so it's constantly changing.

Instructors and training at OATS are excellent. The cost is considerable.

Instructors and training at SFT/Bristol/Tayflight.... are excellent. The cost is verging on considerable. The difference is in your bank balance.

Oats flying instructors send their students to do brush ups for ground exams with Pete Lines or ATA at Coventry.
