Hi guys,
As some of you will know the RFDS has posted an ad on the AFAP listing minimums for the various positions within. The entry being C208 PHC. If your career goal is the RFDS, are you best off entering at the bottom on the 208 or waiting say one year to obtain the extra requirements of the pressurised fleet or aeromedical? Another quick one, do the Aeromed pilots fly PHC and vice versa? Or is it segregated?

I'd love to hear from anyone in the RFDS past or present, PM or post, your input is appreciated.

Cheers :ok:

Would think you would be better off entering the system as soon as possible, especially from a financial perspective!:ok:

Better off getting yourself a job in the PHC side of it and working up that way, if you're low on the hours.

At the moment aeromedical pilots also do PHC flying.

Hi Morno and Howard, Thanks for your replies. I agree with coming in at the bottom and working up. Only concern was more with the Multi time. Ie flying a caravan isn't going to work up an extra 500 multi.

So long as your skills are up to scratch, you won't need the additional 500 hours. :ok:
