Can anyone else offer anything further on this?

I am looking for some advice on Learning to Fly in Florida.

I have a school in mind called Tradewinds, near Daytona, Florida. I was wondering whether someone could offer a proven alternative which would allow me to complete my PPL in four weeks. What should I be looking at in terms of costs.

Can I use a Licence obtained in the US to fly in the UK without any problems?

Are there any specific questions I should be asking to be sure that I get all the training required?

This question comes up regularly, old bean, and there has been a wealth of information posted. Initially, try a search on words or combinations thereof:

Orlando, flying training, Kissimmee, Daytona, hours building Florida, flying in Florida, Florida flying schools etc., etc.

You'll probably get all you want this way. If not, shout back. :)

If you still want more info after following Matelot's advice you can drop me a mail. I did my PPL in FL last October so I can advise you on costs etc.
