Hi all,
it's my first thread here and I'm sorry if this thread's been already made.

So I'm planning to get myself to Maun or Windhoek in January/February and hope to find some bush pilot job there.
I got only 250 hrs (and usually in Finland it's just fine to get employed as a pilot, because airliners in Finland don't demand anymore) and I realize that nowadays it may be not enough. But on the other hand i think that I wont die if I go there, hang around two, three months trying to find a job there and if not lucky take it as an experiment.

So any advice about the paperwork and getting your CPL to match with the demands of Botswana authorities would be great.
Also I would be very interested if there's someone in the same situation as I am, because good wingman wanted!
I mean for me going there is huge step and would be great to have some friend there!

P.S. girlfriend already granted this project though she's not a huge fan.:ok:

Yes I've read that one through and I've also got a lot of email, thanks for everyone about that!

Sadly I've also heard that the required hours has risen so high as 350 hrs nowadays.
Renting rates in Finland makes sure that around 100 hrs with the cheapest C152 would cost about 15-17 grand, so..

I just guess that it's back to the table again. I got a feeling that it's the wron decade we're living..
