Hi folks!

OK, so I put a deposit down a few years ago on an Icon A5 amphibian. ICON Aircraft | Sport Flying Revolution (http://iconaircraft.com). I want to bring it (whenever it's finally built):ugh: to Norway (Hardangerfjord area) where I live. It's an LSA in the USA, of course, and I know EASA just recently enacted similar regs.

I've flown a lot in the US (Commercial/Inst/CFII/etc), but must confess ignorance of airspace regs/procedures in Norway, especially concerning a US "N" registered LSA (if that's even possible).

I'd also like to know more about Norwegian regs when it comes to operations on lakes re: "ferdsel med motorisert fartøy i utmark".

If anyone can point me in the right direction, there's a future trip over the Følgefonn in it for you. :)

MVH,

Tom

Thanks very much for those links, Wesker. Great, useful stuff there. :D

Anyone know by chance typical restrictions for landing on certain inland lakes under "ferdsel med motorisert fartøy i utmark" type laws. As I understand it, many - but not all - are off limits.:=

Cheers,

Tom

not sure about Norway but in Sweden you need the land owner's permission and is best obtained with a fax or e-mail. NOT telephone.
