Until the film comes out...there's an App where you can try and fly with the Dambusters to destroy the dams.

Dambuster App (http://www.thedambusters.co.uk/index.html)

Need one of those new fangled apple thingys though as "other devices do not have the processing capacity and memory to run this game."

It's set at night, you'd have to shine a light at it to see it's eyes.

If you are into that sort of thing then this may amuse you - online so nothing to download. No Lancaster though !

Cheers N4!
You've ruined my marriage !
Wifey gone to bed in a huff after a constant two hours of me flying Lancs low level under bridges and dodging flack with the drone of the four merlins and me turning the air blue after wire strikes or misjudging the bomb release, ruining her viewing of Eastenders!

That was on "easy", bring on the next level

In looking at the Black Label advert, I saw another video on the Dambusters I hadn't seen before, Last of the Dambusters (Part 4).

At 5.30 the bomb aimer is taken to a memorial by a German couple who have looked after it for 60 years but I have a question.

Has no other memorial been built by the British because they didn't know the location of the crash or were the remains unearthed after the war and reburied in a proper grave site ?

Thanks.

The latter - Warner Ottley is buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, along with the other five of the crew who died (the rear gunner, Frank Tees, survived and became a PoW).

BRILLIANT!

My marriage is also in trouble.

Totally worth it.
