I heard the news this morning. Looks like only 1 survivor (non flight crew)
Apparently they hit a downdraft on the drop run-in; the spotter plane calledit off, but they weren’t able to avoid it and hit the ground.
This is a real tragedy, and the families of the Guard unit flying this mission (located in a Southeastern state) are currently being notified.
