There are a lot of fuzzy familiar faces there from way back but names, Crikey ! Only two. The Ginger Nut at the front is Frank "Freckle" Padmore a Flight Engineer Crewman and on his right the tubby gentlemen in the running shoes is I recall, Master Signaller Greg Lovelock, also a Crewman and Radio Ham.... I can still hear him now in a room at Kuching asking some Radio Ham in Japan, "Is it raining in Tokyo ?" - Who cares if it was raining in Tokyo ? - Greg was famous for trying to talk to a Platoon Commander in Vietnam (engaged in a firefight) who told him to: "GetthehelloffermyGoddamfrequency". Both were 110 Squadron.

Amazing, nearly 50 years on and my photograph, taken in Nanga Gaat appears. I am the dark haired chap, nearly centre with the dark shorts.
Remember the day well, except for having a photo taken. We'd saved all the cans up from the Bar. We took it in turns to throw them in the river and as they floated down they were used for target practice.
I was employed as the Wireless Op for 3 Flight Army Air Corps.
If I can find the diary I should be able to put a date to the photograph.
