View Full Version : Advice of an A330 Captain wanted..
If any generous A330 captain comes across this, i am building an A330 cockpit simulator, similar to this http://www.a320project.com. I would like help with checklists and dimensions if possible, can you email me
[email protected], if you can provide ANY assistance whatsoever?

Out of interest, why are A330 First Officers excluded from your request for data?
Presumably you could double your chances of obtaining some useful information?
Ahh, perhaps I should have mentioned that. A330 First Officers, Maintenance Personnel, ANYONE that can help :)

Sorry for my slightly tounge-in-cheek remark...
Unfortunately I am neither an A330 Captain / First Officer / Maintenance Engineer etc...
I could help you out with checklists though.. let me know what you need.
Yeah thats great! Ideally from cold start checklists are fine, absolutely anything A330 im sure will help. Send anything (scans, etc...) to
[email protected]

I am not being rude - just curious, but what the hell are you building it for? Will it work, will it move, will it have visuals? Why not build an aeroplane in your garage instead?:D
Your link http://www.a320project.com./ does not seem to lead anywhere.

try this one..
http://www.avsim.com/hangar/flight/a320project/main.html
Be advised this is NOT my sim, but is exactly the same thing as his A320, only a long haul A330. I hope to get the website for my project up soon, but ive only just completed the cut for the pedestal. It DOES have a visual system, but doesnt move because that would be
A) Too expensive
B) Too Big
And this thing will cost me maybe £10k max, then i could rent it at maybe £20 p/h, so i could make a profit. Or sell it, im sure someone would be interested, a museum or something. And I did consider buying a plane, but the Europa (the one I like) is too complicated. Does anyone know of a good metal one? Surely theres one around, prefereably low wing.
