Any news about the NPA FCL (3)-15 ?

First of all, excuse me for my very bad English: -)

As you know it, the CAA applied few months ago the new JAA Class 1 ophalmologic requirements, specifying however that they were not yet definitively adopted by the JAA and that it was a NPA (Notice of Proposed Amendment).

We can consult this NPA FCL (3)-15 (http://www.jaa.nl/catalogue/npas/348000/348175/348175.pdf) on the JAA website (http://www.jaa.nl) where we also learned that all JAA states were to return their verdict at the latest on April 1, 2002.

So, my question is thus: Anybody have news about this NPA?

Limit of +/- 5 dioptres will be adopted definitively?

as far as i know (because i emailed them), if it will go on , it will be only in early 2003. that´s what they told me.
I´m in that same situation and if anyone have any news, PLEEEESE surprise me!!!;) ;) :D .

And when we are in 2003, they will say to us "early 2004, be patient" :mad:. I calm myself ;) .

When did you contact them?

I think that I'll send an e-mail to them to know if, already, this NPA were accepted or not...

HI F.F.B:) ,talked to them a month ago maybe.
meanwhile, talked to the Portuguese civil autorities last week and they told me that was just a NPA, didn´t believ much in it:mad: !!! did you already tryed to contact your civil aviation autorities? they might know anithing about it;)
