Does anyone know if the VC10 is going to Cosford this year and what time - is it early or late in the programme?

Just to explain - we are going to the Airshow, but can either go early and leave early or go later and stay to the end.

We don't want to miss the VC10, so wondered if anyone knew if it was displaying early in the programme or towards the end.

Thanks

Thank you very much - it's go later and stay to the end then.

Going later we'll end up parking at the far end of the airfield, but we'll get to see the VC10 while we can.

Cosford?

Isn't that a place where they chop up VC10s?

They have, sadly, done so in the past (http://www.vc10.net/History/Individual/GARVM.html). They have also been promised to receive XR808 sometime next year so I guess that they have mended their ways and will look after this one somewhat better.

And 'VM is not gone, her fuselage is at Brooklands and is the centerpiece of a new exhibition, to be opened next week: 'VC10 at 50' - event now SOLD OUT - Brooklands Museum (http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/events/details/vc10-at-50/)
