Why is it sad? No one was killed or injured.

It is rumoured that their maintenance records were also destroyed in the fire, if this is true then how come they weren't kept in fire-proof storage?

A poorly run airline run by union clowns from 3 poorly run governments; say no more :ugh:

Being told from a reliable source; all maintenance records at the company are computerize however the records lost in the fire were the physical stored handwritten copies. The fact that the airline's network is still operating despite such a lost shows that there is some level of organization and contingency measures in place. The company may not be the best but it is sure as hell is not in the lower percentile either. Plus; you never know; there is a Caribbean saying " That old things bring new things". A new fully enclosed air conditioned hangar with state of the art equipment? Just my two cents
