Heard on the grape vine that JQ 465 was grounded at Ballina this morning. Observers state that a "plate" was hanging off the A/C. Any one know what happened?:confused::confused:

I didn't think Jetstar served food on plates, they just shove a bag in front of you.

I don't know what happened to this particular flight but it MUST have been caused by:

Cadets;
Foreign Cabin Crew;
Low Wages;
Qantas Offshoring Policy!!

Surely someone out there knows why engineer/s came from Gold Coast to rectify. I understand a lot of photos were taken. The observation of "plates" prompts the question, what did occur. Was it a fairing, cowl, flap, airframe skin, etc?

Sounds like an access panel hanging on a lanyard. Planes do break down at outports with no go items at times.No big deal I guess.

Nope!!

None of the above. Management discovered that busses were cheaper to operate than planes, so now all Onestar flights will terminate at Ballina. Pax will be bussed to final destination.
Sure, it's a bit inconvenient, but the fares are so cheap!!
