The mention of LOT in R&N got me thinking - have their been any other successful landings of wide-bodies without gear? About all I could find after a quick look was ASN Aircraft accident Boeing 747-282B AP-AYW Islamabad International Airport (ISB) (http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=19860204-0) but that doesn't really count as it seemingly wasn't planned.
