An interesting bit in Private Eye.

In 2010 all Tony Blair's companies changed their accounting year from "ending 31st May" to "ending 31st March".

This was in no way connected to the fact that the government raised the top income tax rate for the period 2010/2011 from 40% to 50%, and that the change brought the tax rate for Tony Blair's companies in at the lower level.

Still, which of us wouldn't have done the same if we had an income of over ten million pounds a year earned by doing very little productive work ?

Indeed he still has the gift,they didn't put anything to him he did not bat back with consummate ease,bet the labor party wishes the gift could be transferred to the quacky voiced pillock who leads them now.
