SIAI-Marchetti S.M.1019
Liasion aircraft

Development:
The S.M.1019 first flew on May 24, 1969. The prototype was a revised version of the Cessna Model 305A/O-1 Bird Dog STOL liasion aircraft. The aircraft began entering service with air units in 1976. By 1993 less than 70 aircraft were still in service.
