For pilots:

Do you think there is an opening for a concierge type service for driving business jet pilots to hotels from airport/FBO, collecting from hotels, driving pilots around to from hotels & bars, problem solving & passenger special requests (phone chargers etc and other forgotten items for flights beyond scope of FBO too numerous to mention including specialist catering). All done using quality vehicle such as Range Rover.

Any other suggestions welcome that you cannot get from FBO's you use in the UK.

I would be interested to hear 1) If you would use such a service and 2) What would the services be worth per hour/day/trip realistically.

No. Cost is king these days. An FBO will drive the crew to the HOTAC or a cheap taxi firm that's local. Most Hotels have spare adapters/chargers - if not, the other crew operating with you probably have the same company issued phones. Specialist catering - most FBO's can arrange at a cost as can some hotels.

You would appear to be charging for a service that crew are already paying the FBO/Hotel for.

Just my tuppence worth.

Most FBO locations in the UK have either this in house or by third party, if you can be specific about location, then an answer can be addressed.

Fair comments, looks like the FBO's have it all in hand. Thanks for your input.

Actually we have a company that does all of that..... they totally babysit us whenever we are in the USA. In some cases they assign someone to come to the city that we are in to liase and immediately solve any issues that may arise........

That sounds interesting. I am just exploring whether there may be any scope to start a business doing this, but it seems FBO's seem to take care of everything in the UK.

My thinking was that when flying to certain airports the pilots can phone their "man" and everything will be ready on arrival. I just thought it must be cheaper to deal with someone rather than pay huge FBO fees.

If transport to HOTAC and everything else is included in FBO fees then there is no place for such a service I suppose.

As you may have noticed, no one else has stated that they would use your type of service, we are unique due to the number of crew involved and certainly cannot be considered a typical operator.....

Sorry...
