Is there much difference between a class 2 medical and a class 1 medical?

Is there much difference between a class 2 medical and a class 1 JAR FCL medical,?
i mean when comparing the requirements for both of them,any difference or the same.

On initial issue the differences tend to be with eye sight and hearing.
