Hi!
:confused:Can anyone help me towards links, names, adresses, opninions and reputation for light aircraft operators in Nairobi (4 to 6 seats, C206, C185 and the like).
We're planning a 10-20 day trip to Kenya next year and would like to do some flights with a reputable pilot.
Thanks in advance.

There are quite a few companies at Wilson who could - professionally and safely assist you with a suitable aircraft and pilot. And there are a whole bunch would will happily undercut legitimate operators with a low-time pilot building hours and a private aircraft masquerading as a commercial operation. There are also quite a few one plane operations too and brokers who have no plane but will promise you the entire sky if you ask - but you get what you pay for.

Legitimate operators are TropicAir who are based 90 miles north of Nairobi, and other operators actually based at Wilson/Nairobi are Yellow Wings, East African Air Charters, Boskovic Air Charters and the Aeroclub of East Africa.

Depending on your routing, scheduled airlines might be practical and these include AirKenya, Safarilink and Fly540.

Bottom line - don't be fooled by the talk or the website. There are a lot of wolves in sheeps clothing around here.
