Hi Folks

Just wondering, I have a IR issued on an ICAO License ( NZ) and want to get an Aus IR rating on the Aus CPL I already have.

Can somebody tell me whether I can cross credit the hrs of my NZ IR and start the Aus IR and minimise the cost.

I know I may have to do the IREX but wonder whether I can use the IR Sim and Actual hrs to do the initial Aus IR here in Australia rather than doing the entire Aus IR course.

Thanks

Check the CASA website. Has the requirements required for conversions on it. Can be easily researched.

If it is a current nz IF rating you could possibly pay for it to be attached to your oz license under the TTMRA http://www.casa.gov.au/wcmswr/_assets/main/fcl/download/ttmra.pdf

Extract from above TTMRA doc:
Rating/Endorsement $AUD130 (If not accompanied by Licence application)

Maybe a cheaper option?
