This week in Oz was remarkably like last week, which was remarkably like the week before, except for some freckling, and the week before that. Life goes from ordinary to worse for punters in Northern climes and some bloke who calls himself King from England has decided it was the banks that have ruined the land of hope and glory. Life for local Victorians continued to be dominated by glum news as more punters were sent in search of the new economy. This included the long anticipated move by St. Alan at Qantas Mining, where Ginger beer was taken off the menu for Red Roo lovers and they are to be kicked out of sheds around the area where at least the Cats still hold their own and the Blues continue as expected this season. There were tasty advertisements from the Virgin which began appearing suggesting magic carpet rides to Northern parts were now on. In contrast and going the other way, in that fine Irish tradition, was our very own St Alan who has decided to chuck some heavy metal on domestic routes for a while and Melbourne-Perth and Perth-Sydney are now it seems, the long awaited Asian venture.

Surfer Wayne continued his preparations for the merry dance around the May pole scheduled for this coming week and there were no circus performances. Girls and Boys of the Commonwealth put the finishing touches to the program for the Cashier’s Office at the Big Tent and all circus clowns were by the end of the week seen dropping secret pages left right and centre about the countryside in a bid to entice punters back to the Circus.

Seems the aliens at Galaxy reckon only three in ten punters now give A. The freckling of the member from the central coast area was in full flight and poor old slipper Peter remains mired in the heap to which he fell from the highwire. Prissy Pyne was positively hysterical at the whole show. Punters all over Oz simply turned off the telly and switched on the ‘I’ thingies. Bleating was heard from overseas believed to be coming from Don Carr but nobody heard a word he said.

Delays for things new and of the flying variety did sadly dominate, Red Roo A380s are to now come in the future about the same time as one of those Labour policy promise would arrive, just as the we heard that the shiny fast stuff (JSF to those in the know) for Newcastle based lads and lasses is now put over to about the same time frame. The donkeys at the Spanish horse show, CASA, continue to give trouble and are not stamping el medicos again, no braying was heard from the donkey kongs on high. Some may prefer the analogy coined by the Professor of Law at UTS about it being more interesting to watch equine sexthan dancing donkeys.

In Oz this week we heard of all sorts of wonderful Circus and other foreign film Oscar performances in Europe for those interested in Euro doings, the Greeks returned to arguing amongst themselves. The French Cozziewas sent back to his home town and Italians were kept enthralled by details of Bunga Bunga parties, seriously and I am not making this up, they reckon old Silvio had female youngsters undress as they sang the Party election song about Silvio, really what are these people smoking I mean there is no way it was the party jingle, you ever hear any good footie songs coming from the back benches at Italian soccer games? precisely, my point. Vlad swaggered around the Kremlin to a Tchaikovsky march this week in a very tasty crown, so then again, just maybe they sung about Silvio at ze BungaBunga. Maybe Alitalia could offer mile high Bunga Bunga parties while they work out what a schedule means.

Well, that’s it this week from Oz, we see what happens after Surfer Wayne sets the economy on fire next week, one thing for certain; there will be no money for Wilton. Til next week and yes it is a load of bollocks.

Brilliant. Sadly, it makes more sense than the papers or TV news.

Thanks for stuffing up my keyboard as I lost control of my coffee laughing. Mate, this should be in the daily rags, this deserves to be read by more punters then just us. Brilliant stuff.:D
