IA have gone back to their previous green livery, slightly modified and applied it to a CRJ-900, currently one 737-200 wears the scheme as well.

Nice that they are going to finally paint those CRJ-900's of theirs. The only "con" with reverting back to the older green livery, is that it doesn't always do the airline's image any good, having tons of derelict aircraft all over the middle east, in their current colour scheme! I figured that the choice of blue livery on the on CRJ was to perhaps show that they had rebranded and distanced themselves from the old Iraqi Airways.

At the moment their fleet looks motley at best. A YA reg patchy all white 747-400 with red engines, a few leased in 737-700's, a Jordan Aviation 767-200 in all white with red engines that does the odd flight, and then an Al Naser branded 737-400.

Iraqi are cancelling their remaining four CRJ order and looking for bigger aircraft.

Well that green livery was only applied to one CRJ, but the new one is now going on a 747, can anyone in Cairo get pictures of it, its being painted there.

Just spotted their new 738 in Dubai. It looks nice and fresh in the desert amonst all the others.
