I am looking for a good quality photo or slide of this aircraft, preferably with the name in view. Does anybody know where one can be found?

Many thanks,

You could try the Croydon Airport Society. They are listed in the site below. With lots of other useful addresses

Keep it in your favourites file.

This collection contains everything from the glory days of British aviation, including the pictures you want. There is a note however that says that pictures are currently not available, but you can e-mail for info.

THE A.J. JACKSON COLLECTION (http://website.lineone.net/~ajj.collection/index.htm)

Interesting history of her here. (http://www.bat.co.za/WHAT.htm)

The latest copy of Aeroplane magazine has a long feature on the HP42 with histories of all the aircraft. It would be worth a look as they've got a lot of historic photos in their own library.
