Any Alouette tech's out there that could answer this question? When torqueing the blades pins to the proper torque during installation, some of the pins torqued out with the pin still about 2 or 3 mm from being fully seated. After a test run up the washers on those pins spun freely thus zero torque after the run up. The book doesn't elaborate on proceedure other than to torque them to the specification. I suppose one could tighten the pins until they are flush then back them off and retorque to the proper spec's but that isn't stated. What did the "old pro's" do?

Hi
The manner i was using: When both pins in place, knock on the top while an other person is mooving the blade tip in the drag .
Then reapply the torque!
And take care of the special washers: Must not to be damaged by many torques
Cheers

Remember that the blade must be supported when torquing and tap as suggested. Do not overtorque or you will have a hell of a job getting the pins out again.

Thanks to you both. I was out of the country for a few months and hope to be back tuning up the Alouette soon.
