Recently bought a new Bush digital radio, all worked fine until this morning when it just died and now won't turn back on. I'm thinking it might have just lost signal and will turn on again but so far no luck. The screen is blank and won't turn on or reset. Anybody know what the problem could be? Or should I take it back and get a new one under the warranty? Any help would be appreciated as I'm c**p with technology!!

take it back under warranty. Its not worth fiddling with and then potentially screwing the warranty

Battery flat? Mains switch off at wall skt? Lead plug loose?

I have a digital radio, and boy, they soon drain batteries. My old Roberts radio (4xAA) would run for weeks, eight hours a day on MW.

I've seen several digital radios die prematurely
Send it back under warranty

I've taken a few apart (though not a Philips one) and they've all looked rather tacky inside. The impression is rather of lack of quality at the Chinese knock-up shop that assembled them
Main problems seem to be failing power units (which you can't buy on the open market)

I had double checked all the cables etc to make sure they were secure and checked another plug to see if that worked, but no luck.

Will take it back tomorrow under warranty to get a new one which hopefully (touch wood) will work better! Many thanks.
