I am trying to trace the family of a Battle of Britain pilot, Flt Lt E.O. Watson.
He flew with 129 (Mysore) Sqdn and was based at RAF Ibsley in Hampshire for the first half of 1943. During this time he flew a Spitfire Mk VC that I am now restoring to flying conditon so it would be fantastic if I could find any of his family to see if they have his logbook, photos and to let them know his plane will be flying again.
I know its a long shot but I thought I'd post the query just in case anyone out there might be able to suggest a lead.
