Has anyone heard any more information about the Jubba Airways Antonov AN-24 en route from Hargeisa to Galkayo that broke up on landing? No injuries reported, and darn it, Minister of Aviation Mr. Gamute says the pilot just couldn't land the plane. :/ No...wait...here's the quote: “The error was that the pilot of aircraft could not manage to land the plane properly so it broke outside the airport. But luckily no one was hurt.” Quote came from here: SOMALIA: Details of Civilian aircraft crashes in Galkayo airport, Somalia on Saturday | RBC Radio (http://www.raxanreeb.com/2012/04/somalia-details-of-civilian-aircraft-crashes-in-galkayo-airport-somalia-on-saturday/)

Absolutely typical, cowboy outfit flying dubious Russian aircraft in a corrrupt African country with no effective regulation.

How much longer before they run out of Antonovs to crash ?.
