I parked near a CX B747-400 Freighter in Dubai recently and noticed it did not have Rolls Royce engines which I thought CX were partial to on their Boeing aircraft.

Which engines did the one I saw have and is there a trend to move away from RR engines for the 744F, or just a one off? I didn't notice however, if it was a BCF model or not.

Cheers

Some BCF's & PAX were ex-SQ hence PW.

The ER's have PW since there was no RR option.

AFAIK, 400F has the RB211-524H or PW4052/6. The ERs are PW4062.

I stand to be corrected / educated on this.

Ex SIA would be PW4056.

All correct, but not PW4052 offered for the B744.
