Just read this in the news paper that Air Wales are to fly from Cardiff to Dublin daily and would apper to be doing this in direct competition with British Airways/Regional or whatever they are calling themselves now.. .. .Just hope that Air Wales have been breifed by Richard Branson or Laker first so that they know what to expect, but this is of course my own opinion on the matter and do not want any BA bigwigs getting upset with me.

Your post is unjustified and actually quite offensive.

I think you'll probably find that they'll be competing with British Regional Airlines, which whilst wholly owned by the BA group is run independently by the BRAL management. Get your facts right. I bet you can hold a grudge for a really long time saddo.

SkyGuy - you managed to annoy me greatly over on Wannabes a few weeks back. You are doing the same now with others. You are wrong in your general supposition. I wish Air Wales all the best.. .. .WWW

Air Wales deserve to do well, apart from being a proud Welshman myself (although, please don't mention the rugby ) I think that anyone who launches a new service that could produce more jobs for our colleagues in the current climate deserves all of the support that we can all muster. . .. .Good for them!

Best of luck to Air Wales, their biggest advantage is that they don't have the "couldn't give a ****** about the passengers" that Brit' Regional have, (I know this as I am a regular <unfortunately> passenger of B.R. - out of necessity). . .The big disadvantage to Air Wales is B.R.'s availability of B.A's cash flow to screw the small operator.. .It's the ONLY situation in which I'll support the Welsh.

I also hear they are doing Swansea to Jersey flights, may be scheduled or charter not sure but whatever any increase will be good news for all. Cardiff to Dublin - maybe, the right timings will make a lot of difference.. .. .So come on Air Wales what about the long awaited and still much needed link to Stansted and why not try a couple of times a day between Swansea and Newquay or Plymouth?. .. .Whatever well done to all on making it in such a tough business and RGDT for having the b*alls to keep the cash going.. .. .Long may they be around!. .NO I am not Welsh as all in AW know.... but my dog is!?!
