I hear tell a small freight company in DXB is no longer what it was, and maybe no more. This always had to hapen, gien the 1950's management style.

I know of some one who until very recently was working there. Have seen/heard these guys fly around in DXB airspace quiet often in the nights. Heard the shutting down owes to poor management policies :hmm: . Am sorry for the guys who lost their jobs and also sorry if I flashed my lights on you guys at the other end of the holding point while lining up - I didnt realise there was an aircraft on the other side  .

Very sad to hear that. Been there for 3 long years and every time I taxi past their aircraft or hear the callsign remember the good old times.
We had lots of fun, great bunch of guys, I hope all will find new jobs soon...
But heard as well its not over yet, there still might be some hope?

From a very reliable source I have heard its just some major restructuring going on.
Far from closing down.
There is a market for them here and it just needs some optimizing and adjustment.

I think I saw their 1900 on GA (private aviation) Ramp in Jeddah this morning. Apparently they to DXB-RUH-JED (and back) run everynight. Will check it tomorrow morning again!

No not immediately shutting down but about 10 pilots were laid off.
Operations downsized big time. Charter only from June.

Dear all,
Please disregard all comments from "reliable sources". Sharksucker you are real sucker!
G-something you are apsolutely right, downsizing big time. After Jun only charters if anything.

What happened to their DHL contract?

I thought they had the Fedex contract? Didn't realise they were doing DHL work too. I used to fly 1900's for DHL out of Bahrain 4-5 years ago, but that was for a different contract operator.

Sad to here that they are battling.

What happened to their DHL contract?

Seems to have been renewed for 6 months and perhaps the only regular flight for them.. DXB-BAH-JED. This contract will sustain unless if DHL plans to operate their 72s to Jeddah .. :ouch:

I think that it is FedEx who is the main contract. Falcon are FedEx in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Have there been any developments since mid-May... Web sight offers no new info but still up and running..
Are the problems confined to just one area of the company or the whole group ? I was considering applying at about the time that this thread was started...
