Hi

Can anyone tell me if there are any airlines/AOC holders in the Central African Republic ?

Hello there .
Two AOC holders at the moment . Minair (L410 , be 58 , C404) and LAPARA (be 90 ) . Local charter companies . There's a 'new' 737-200 :} sitting on the apron , with markings for 'African Airlines' ( let's be modest !) and a local reg but I don't know if their AOC is out yet . :confused:

Also a company called Via-air operating C208B.

Also able to access most twin turboprops should you require.

Have flown with them plenty in the CAR, organised bunch of people
with great pilots.

Can you provide a registry or other ID for the 737-200 that is there? Any idea if it is actually in-service, or parked / scrapped ?

Central African Republic based newcomer Africa Airlines started-up with a single Boeing 737-200 acquired from a Lebanese operator

Airplane is a 737-200 , Parked ( as of two weeks ago ) and in flying condition (it arrived about 3 weeks ago now ) . reg: TL-AEG . Green , white and I believe yellow colours .' African Airlines ' markings . Owners believed to be from the land of the Cedar Trees :hmm:

They are 4 companies in CAR with AOC.
Via Air with 1 C208
Minair with 1 Let 410
Lapara Centrafrique Aviation with 1 Be E90 King Air + 1 Pa 31T Cheyenne II
and Africa Airlines becomes now Karinou Airlines with 1 B 737-200, his Aoc is performing now. May be first flight in November, 2012.

Anyone has any contact of the head office of this company? I cant manage to find any website link.
