IF there is to be a code share with QF would it be from and to Singapore?

Perhaps QF are going back into Bahrain? The crew bar in the Gulf Hotel could certainly use a boost! <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

From the Gulf Air website:

"GULF Air is to introduce a code share operation with Qantas between Sydney and Singapore for passengers traveling to the Gulf region and the Middle East.

It will take effect, subject to government approval, from April and will involve a Qantas connection to Sydney for Gulf Air’s Melbourne passengers. Additionally, an improved marketing agreement will give Gulf Air the ability to sell into other Australian capitals from its Middle East ports.

There will be three code share services a week from Sydney, using Qantas equipment, to connect with Gulf Air operated flights from Singapore to Bahrain and onward to other destinations in the Gulf region and Middle East generally.

Gulf Air will continue to operate its Airbus A340 aircraft between Singapore and Bahrain. The services between Sydney and Singapore will use Qantas’ Boeing 747-400s."
