What is the bmi regional operator called? Having just sent in an application for British Midland Commuter I see that they are now called bmi regional. When did that happen? Can anyone please let me know in case I get lucky enough to go to an interview.

i think British Midland (BMI) are undergoing a great expansion of their company and wit the expansion they want a name to suit. They have chosen BMI as a name for the WHOLE company because they feel it i suitable for their buisness plans.
(correct me ifim wrong cos im not that much of an expert)
Cheers
Dave

British Midland Bought Business Air in 1996. The company was used to operate BM routes with low load factors on a wet lease type basis there by making them more profitable. The Company became British Midland Commuter. With the Rebranding of British Midland earlier this year BMC became bmi Regional. The Airline will Gradually take over all Regional routes & operate independantly of the mainline company.
