I currently have a PPL, almost 150 hours and UK ATPL theory. To continue to a frozen ATPL I am looking for a school which can provide me the cpl/me/ir part with the following requirement:
- Short (2/3 months) duration. So preferable not in the UK because of bad weather.
- CPL and IR/ME at the same school. Some Spanish schools for example don't allow the CPL part because UK ATPL theory is not recognized by their authority, while the JAA USA schools can't do the full IR part
- Good quality education

I also speak german, so a German school would also fit. However I understood that the Germans also don't accept the UK ATPL theory. I know ftejerez used to do this modular course in spain in a sort duration, however they stopped the modular route.

Does anyone know a school that fits my preferences?

Yes, at least thats what aerodynamics malaga told me. CPL is not possible at their place with UK atpls

Nothing to stop you getting it done in the UK in that timescale, bearing in mind there aren't any solo elements to those courses. As a guide, I've taught a complete IR course in a month, and I'd hope to get a good CPL from start to test in 4 weeks!

at what school? I heard for example at OAA it takes 6 months.

Hmmm. That sounds more like the theory part - the flying part of a modular CPL & IR certainly do not take 6 months. Why not ask a few schools directly?

I did. It's 6 months at OAA. Anyone can recommend a school which can do the cpl/me/ir part in a short time? I am planning to take unpaid leave from work for a while, which can be max 2 - 3 months, so need a school that has this good availability of planes and instructors, ideally in good flying conditions

I would chose Bristol Avaition all the time. I did my ME/IR and CPL all in 9 weeks over the summer last year. I'm just planning to go back there this year to renew my IR. Fantastic school, outstanding instructors and if you put the work in you'll get first time passes!! They have such a high 1st time pass rate.

Try AERO's at Gloucester.

It's 6 months at OAA.

I'd question daily flying hours, currency, etc then. The process requires approx 85 hours flying to complete inc a good bit of sim training at some FTOs. 85 hours over 6 months is a bit slow...

Stapleford is also a very good school.
