A Turkish aviation news site posted a supposedly current list of the number of Turkish and foreign flight crew currently employed by Turkish airlines and charter companies. I took some time to add fleet information as well as some math work regarding the ratios involved. Might provide an insight into the current situation in Turkey for those thinking of applying for positions

Has the situation, regarding foreign pilots,
changed since April 2012?

Alot of things have happened since then in Turkey. There's quite an expansion but most airlines will charge you for the TR even as a captain because most people leave as soon as they get a new offer.

7 days off a month, constantly changed rosters, the currency losing it's value and constantly slightly at or above the legal limit of FT, FDT and minimum off.
If you call in sick they will count that off your OFF-days and you will be punished by having your bids/requests declined within 15 minutes.
