Hi all,

Looking for a solution which must have been done before.

As I (..and the impatient boss) are spending too much time at airports refueling.
We are thinking of ordered a 140 liter fuel-bladder from turtlepac.
And getting a small fuel transfer pump/unit to get the fuel from the booth into the tank.
(this would be a on-the-ground solution, I don't need an in-flight solution)

Google brought up some info, but not a complete & neat solution. A small box with pump and battery,
one line to the bladder, one 4 meter line with a fuel pistol, doesn't seem to exist. Or I can't find it.
Maybe you have a useful tip, or can share a picture of a possible solution.

Also I was wondering how full can you pump the bladder, if you don't have access to pressure refuelling.

A few things I found on the web:

here (http://www.ebay.ie/itm/12V-Diesel-Oil-Fuel-Transfer-Pump-Kit-Heavty-Duty-V-12-Volt-Biodiesel-40-LPM-/190593337177?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2c603f8759#ht_3470wt_952)

All idea's and tips, highly appreciated! :ok:

Hi,

Couldn't tell if you are in the uk, but if you are ! Try
Hytek fuel systems, they have all sorts, battery and engine driven ..

Hi Nelly,

They make some nice products, I'll give them a ring...
Not UK-based, a few countries eastbound, but not too far!

Thanks,

GoatThroat: Pumps that handle ANYTHING! (http://www.goatthroat.com/)
GoatThroat Distributors (http://www.goatthroat.com/html/distributors.asp#United%20Kingdom)
4.5 gal per minute viscosity dependant & transfer levels I would think.
UK Agent & no power required unit made for fuel Xfer with conductive plastic & bonding cable.
As long as blander will take the pressure :suspect:
Why not the turtle pack pump ?

Gents,

Thanks for the info so far. I can definitely work out a
good solution...
The turtlepac pump (standard) has a flowrate of 4 liter/min
Probably any handpump has better 'performance'....

The amount of fuel that needs to be transferred is somewhere in between
100 and 200 liters....
